Chiropractic is at the leading edge of health care.
The Science, Art, and Philosophy of Chiropractic is a proven system of health care and is based on the fact that all of the tissues, organs, and systems of the body are controlled and coordinated by the nervous system . Doctors of chiropractic are trained to locate, analyze, and correct articular dysfunctions of the spine, cranium and extremities to restore and maintain proper neurological function of the body. In this way, properly trained chiropractors bring safe and effective solutions for common problems such as back pain, neck pain and headaches. However, it is also integral to a multitude of today’s health problems.
As a result of anatomy and a consequence of stress (physical , chemical and emotional), the vital nervous tissues that carry impulses from the brain and spinal cord to the tissues of the body are impinged when articular dysfunction of the vertebral column exists. Impingement and stress on these delicate nervous tissues cause interference on neural impulses or messages. A decrease or increase of function occurs and dis-ease results.
Chiropractic optimizes the body’s innate healing capacities. Through years of substantiated research, the profession is well established world-wide and is fully recognized by the World Health Organization.
Crisis and symptomatic care is effectively handled by chiropractors but it also offers an effective means of proactive and maintenance health care for our society.

Structural Chiropractic vs. Traditional Chiropractic
Traditional chiropractors focus on goals like decreasing muscular spasm, increasing range of motion, and reducing pain. This is how most chiropractors practice, and I believe most of them are great at what they do. It falls under the umbrella category of symptom relief/symptom management.
Your Spine is your Foundation. How strong is yours?
Think of your spine as the foundation for a building. If the foundation was off, would you expect the floors to creak, the walls to crack, and windows to break down? Now you can spend time patching all the damage, but you would be doing so with the expectation that in a short time the problems will have to be…..?
….Repaired Again….and Again….
And suddenly instead of achieving a true correction, we’re relying on chiropractic like a natural (and sometimes expensive) aspirin.
Get Back to Normal!
Rather than constantly repairing damage, at Structural Chiropractic, we’ve chosen to fix the underlying Foundation and help your spine reach Normal Structure.
Of course our services aren’t for everyone. However, if you are tired of constantly patching the problem and you’re looking for a long term solution that you can both feel AND see for yourself, then Structural may be the right place for you. Once the foundation has been fixed, then we’ll teach you how to keep it that way through customized recommendations designed for your spine, so that the problem doesn’t come back.
What’s a Neuro-Structural Shift?
In healthcare, there are established normal values for many health indicators. There’s a standard for normal blood pressure, normal cholesterol, and normal vision. It doesn’t mean that we expect everyone to have a PERFECT measure, but there are healthy ranges for people depending on their age and situation.
A structural shift is an abnormal misalignment of the spine, that causes havoc with your body’s optimal function. At Structural Chiropractic we are looking for structural shifts in your spine and pelvis that affect your Neuro-Spinal function. These shifts will initially cause the muscles to spasm, eventually deforming the ligaments then disrupt the NERVES leading from the spinal cord.
Could your problems be the result of a Structural Shift?
What Are Secondary Conditions?
Once a structural shift is present and disrupting the spinal nerves and spinal cord, it can create many different secondary conditions or symptoms.
The reason these are called secondary conditions is because they are a result of the primary structural shift, or the underlying cause. The locations of the structural shift and where the nerves are being disrupted will give us an idea about your secondary conditions.
Please note that we are not treating these secondary conditions or implying that these conditions are necessarily caused by a neuro-structural shift. Rather, these conditions may be affected by correcting neuro-structural shifts.

What Are My Options?
There are a wide variety of treatment options offered by both medical and alternative medicine practitioners. Most doctors are focused on pain and symptom relief (secondary conditions), and they do an excellent job. People often start with medication or herbal/homeopathic remedies which can turn off pain receptors. If that doesn’t work, then courses of physical therapy (kine) may be used to strengthen muscular weakness, address spasm, or increase mobility. Injection programs to calm the site of pain come in next. When those don’t work, more invasive procedures like surgery start to fall into the picture. Regrettably, those therapies only address the secondary conditions (symptoms) and not the underlying cause.
All of these treatment programs are effective in the appropriate time and place and have different goals. Our goal is to restore the structural integrity of your spine.
Yes. Although we maintain that we do not diagnosis and/or treat disease or symptoms, you are better off with a properly functioning spine and nervous system as one major component of increasing and maintaining optimal health.
Structural Chiropractic and Children
Children who are still growing respond incredibly well to structural correction. Achieving a normal spine is much easier for children and aids in healthy structural and neurological development.

Neuro-Structural Correction for the Horse and Dog
To schedule an appointment for your horse, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call Scott on 691 871 763.
It’s best to arrange for several horses to be seen at the same stable because of the time required to travel to the stable. It is also recommended, but not required, that the rider be treated as well since the horse needs to compensate for your structural shifts – and visa versa….
Dogs can be seen here in Kirchberg on the back balcony but are scheduled at the end of the day so that people clients are not seen afterwards. They may also be scheduled to be seen at fitdog.lu in Steinsel.
